Meridian Park Elementary School :: Shoreline Washington
The Meridian Park Math Club is looking for coaches for the 2008–2009 school year.
Led by Shelley Anderson and a corps of dedicated volunteers, this group has been having fun and winning awards around Western Washington.
Volunteers are given lots of resources and support and guidance throughout the year from the whole team.

When: Wednesdays, 8:05–9:05am, late September through April (with one additional competition in early May). Prep time is about two hours per week.
What: Lead a small group (5–16 students) of 4th, 5th, or 6th graders in the lesson of the day, review the homeFun (either in class, or take it home to grade), and make math fun!
Who: Anyone with an interest in math, kids learning math, or volunteering with 4–6 graders. No need to be a math whiz — your enthusiasm counts!
Also: Administer a MOEMS test once a month November–March and then go over the answers in the remainder of the period (guidance is given on how to do this).
